Race Cancelation and Postponement policy
THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS!
Please know this when entering.
Please also know that if the course, terrain, weather, pandemic or anything is beyond your comfort level to participate to please opt out.
We really wish we could purchase insurance to make cash refunds happen, but we do not have that option at this time.
Weather, Fire, Acts of nature(Lightning, fire, flood, Excessive snow and trees, Pandemic, Terrorism, War,).
These things can and do cause races to be canceled or postponed beyond our control, including the stoppage of an event from landowners, including private and or state, county, or city permit agencies canceling our permit at any time.
In this case, NO refunds would be issued, and the below 50% credit would take place towards a future event.
With this being said, things happen that prevent you from coming. Most of the time, your double book or a new job happens, etc. We have options, but due to the nature of events, we can't take care of any issue the week of an event to focus on the riders coming to take part.
If you test positive for COVID-19 within 72 hrs of the event we will push 50% of your entry towards a future event.
Mudslinger Events DBA Oregon Trail Runs also has a fourteen day credit policy to push any funds to other events in the same calendar year only by emailing mike@oregontrailruns.com at least ten days or more from the event.
Please double-check any accommodation cancelation policies and book early to ensure the best pricing for local accommodations?
Merchandise
If you pre-ordered apparel or merchandise, we would apply 100% of that amount to your race credit or ship the merchandise in question for a small charge.
